Learn to recognize red and sweet watermelons

A watermelon seller was asked by a customer how he recognizes a sweet watermelon.

The shopkeeper replied that it was not a family affair to pick up one or two watermelons, play it in front of the customer and pick up the second or third watermelon and give it to him.But we are not doing anything like that with you here, but we are really telling you some tricks that will make it easy for you to choose a sweet and red watermelon for your  dinner.

Take a look at the shape of the watermelon

Check the shape of the watermelon before picking it up. Watermelons with a suitable and solid skin have a better chance of turning out sweet. Watermelon with uneven surface is not sweet. This means that watermelon does not get adequate water and sunshine. This makes the watermelon taste dry.

Check the weight of the watermelon by hand

Now lift the watermelon in your hands and see. Heavy watermelon is better. A good watermelon contains 92% water. The heaviness of the watermelon is a sign that the watermelon is ripe properly. If watermelons look the same in size, choose heavier watermelons

Look at the yellow spot on the watermelon

Turn the watermelon over. If there is a yellow spot on the underside or on one side of the watermelon, then pick a watermelon with a deep yellow spot. This spot on the watermelon falls on the side where the watermelon is placed on the ground during ripening. The light color means that the watermelon was broken before it was fully ripe. Don't pick shiny watermelons Not every shiny watermelon can be sweet. Watermelon with rough and dry skin is better. Shiny watermelon is thought to mean that it did not ripen on its own.

Watermelon skin is not elastic

Try pressing the bottom of the watermelon, if it feels soft when pressed, then understand that the watermelon is over ripe. Try playing watermelon This may sound ridiculous, but it's old-fashioned. Place the watermelon on a smooth surface and play with your fingers. A solid sound means that the watermelon has the right amount of water and is ripe. The watermelon with the sound of emptiness has dried up due to over ripening inside.

All this is in place, but it is said that along with all the calculations, luck must be with the sweet and red watermelon.
