Pundit Jawahar Lal Nehru visit to Kashmir with Ghaffar Khan in 1940

The Relation ship of The Maharajah towards Indian Congress Leader was very Strange.He put a Strict rule in Jammu and Kashmir No one from the Congress should be allowed to visit Jammu and Kashmir.

The Citizen were warned not to Offer any Place or entertain them.

In these condition Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru with Ghaffar Khan come to Visit Kashmir.They are Greeted by Shri Prem Nath Chopra

Shri Premnath Chopra had said they  had perhaps the second or may be third ice-Factory in North India the others may be at Sialkot-Hamachal Perdesh or Haryana. The Family was Elite of that Time.

The Night of 30th June 1940 saw some special Guests at The Chopra House in Jammu,They stayed at Chopra house for a Night for there onward Journey to Lahore.The Chopra disobeyed The strict orders of Maharaja

Shri Prem-Nath Chopra kept a sufficient stock of 333 Ciggerates as Pandit jee was very found of smoking. when they were about to leave the Wife of Shri Premnath chopra packed some Mithai some Food with some Plates and utensils.

Ghaffar khan was a childlike simple man who said no i don't need any utensils wrap My Roti and i will eat so he didn't take any plate.
