The sad incident happened on Wednesday at Sendero Luminoso on the El Potrero Chico peak which is in the northern city of Monterrey.
Brad Gobright a Californian resident fell from the peak about 1000ft.
Gilbright who was just 31 once set a speed record for climbing the Nose pn El Capitan in Yosemite national park in California in 2017
Gilbright was climbing with his fellow American Aidan jacobson and were on there way downwards when the accident occured.
