The 200 members of the league marched through Karachi and presented their demand at the home of the Premier, who is shown above with wife No. 1, Hamide, by whom he has two sons. Ali married wife No. 2, pretty Aliya Saddy, four weeks ago. She is 30; he is 46. The women who demanded that Ali's first wife must be First Lady said: 'All womanhood is ashamed that one woman has wantonly broken another's happy home; Under no circumstances are the women of Pakistan prepared to see Mr. Ali's second wife usurp the position of First Lady.'

Medium tanks, communication equipment and engineering supplies are among other major items being furnished Pakistan by the U.S. A team of instructors from Ft. Sill, Oklahoma, has been sent to the Pakistan Artillery School at Nowshera to train Pakistan Army officers in the use of the equipment. The officers will pass along the training to Pakistani troops. The veil of super-secrecy surrounding the aid program was lifted recently when newsmen got a look at the Nowshera installation.
