Kapil Sharma is one of the tremendous standup comedians. He hails from Amritsar, Punjab, India. He debuted the silver screen with the comedy show Ustaadon Ke Ustaad. He won the comedy series The great Indian Laughter Challenge season 3 as well as Comedy Circus Ke Tansen. Some of the well known characters played by him include Shamsher Singh and Lala Roshan Lal, a Punjab Police Inspector.
Apart from performing, he also hosted the comedy show Comedy Circus Ka Naya Daur. He co-hosted the comedy show Chhote Miyaan with Juhi Parmar and Great Indian Laughter Challenge Season-4. He also hosted the 1st Punjabi International Film Awards, Toronto.
