The Blue Eyed Boy to Bad Boy | What happens when Pakistan show resistance to US | How Americans Humiliate there own Ally

US lawmakers have cautioned that Congress could terminate aid to Pakistan if the country fails to release an American Embassy employee, who is in police custody for killing two Pakistani men. Congressman Howard "Buck" McKeon, Congressman John Kline, and Congressman Silvestre Reyes, while visiting Pakistan, made it clear that there would be consequences if the American, identified as Raymond Davis, was not released.

The threat of halting aid may exacerbate the already brewing tensions between the two countries. Congressman Kline added that House leaders plan to present a spending measure to the floor, with an allowance for open amendments, which could potentially cut US funds to Islamabad. The Obama administration also disclosed that they may cut off high-level contacts with Pakistan and potentially downgrade scheduled meetings as a response to the dispute.
